In our Kenyan market, Vivo is identified as a low cost and quite accessible mobile phone. In the recent years however, we have been able to match up to top Android brands like Samsung.

The Y series was recently introduced into the Kenyan Market targeting the youth. The slogan that has been used before is “Powered by Youth” as a guideline in showing the company’s commitment to have an energetic consumer niche around the world.

As a group, our slogan in Kenya is “Maish ni Vivo” to hype all our target audience and direct them towards purchasing our product.

Our consumers are highly dynamic especially with the features included in our phone such as having pre-installed Applications such as M-Pension and M-Travel applications. This will increase our market scope thus bringing dynamic consumers from all walks of life. Vivo has raised the bar very high with the battery size. The Y17 Vivo phone in particular has a Dual Engine Fast Charging Technology which helps in charging the battery really fast unlike other phone models. The Y17 also has a more powerful 2.3Ghz Mediatek Helios P35 octa-core processor. The Y17 is priced starting at Kshs 24,999 and will be available in either Mineral Blue and Mystic Purple.

Regardless of there being an incredibly competitive wide range of smartphones within this price range, Y17 wins with their offer combination of angle cameras and huge batteries. It is identified by its features !

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
